By GRACE CHAILE FORUM for Democracy and Development president Edith Nawakwi was yesterday unable to appear before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court due to illness, prompting a delay in her trial. Nawakwi, accused of kidnapping and threatening to kill the Hatembos, was admitted to the University Teaching Hospitals on Sunday night. Her defence attorney, Tresford Chali, informed the court that Nawakwi’s illness prevented her from attending the trial, and requested an adjournment.
