By NATION REPORTER DEMAND for product certification witnessed significant growth in 2024, leading to the certification of 413 products, says Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) Executive Director, Nathan Sing’ambwa. This was against a set target of 350, representing 118 percent. “As you may already know, standards play a pivotal role in meeting trade requirements, ensuring safety and quality among other benefits. I am confident that industry will maintain its commitment to applying and adhering to standards in 2025 as it has done in the past,” Mr Sing’ambwa said.
