CHONGWE District Mayor, Christopher Habeenzu, says government has trained 200 farmers in groundnut and soya bean production and has empowered 100 farmers with food security start up packs in the Kanakantapa Resettlement Scheme to help them during this farming season. Speaking during the official opening of the training programme, Mr Habeenzu urged farmers to always practice what they have learnt in order to increase productivity.
