The development follows the completion of maintenance works on the Zambian component of the Zambia –Namibia interconnector and the normalised power import flows through the Zambia Zimbabwe interconnector. “As the country navigates this drought induced hydropower generation deficit, Zesco reaffirms its commitment to explore all available energy solutions to mitigate its impact on our customers,” the statement said.
