By GIDEON NYENDWA THE Tonse Alliance has alleged that the UPND is orchestrating a scheme to rig today’s Kawambwa parliamentary by-election by undermining its candidate, Mr. Danstan Mwansa, who is contesting on the New Congress Party (NCP) ticket. Tonse Alliance spokesperson Sean Tembo says the alliance had discovered a two-pronged detailed strategy purportedly being employed by the UPND to manipulate the electoral process. Mr. Tembo said the first phase of the scheme involved UPND officials and some senior government figures buying National Registration Cards (NRCs) and Voter’s Cards from residents at a price of K100 per individual.
