By GIDEON NYENDWA THE Socialist Party (SP) Youth League has called on the UPND to tame their deputy national youth chairperson, Trevor Mwiinde, accusing him of abusing his position ahead of next year’s Petauke by-election. SP youth league national secretary Stanley Mub’asa has criticised Mr Mwiinde for allegedly provoking people under the guise of police protection. Mr Mub’asa cautioned that power was temporary and urged leaders to exercise restraint and treat others with respect. Meanwhile, Mr. Mub’asa criticised the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and the UPND government, accusing them of failing to address corruption effectively. He claimed that under UPND, Zambia has witnessed “scandal after scandal,” eroding public confidence in the government’s ability to fight corruption.
