By NATION REPORTER POLICE in Lusaka have detained 23 men from Ethiopia in a suspected case of human trafficking and have vowed to dismantle any form of syndicate in human trafficking. Rae Hamoonga the police spokesperson said in a statement yesterday that during a routine patrol, in Chongwe, police came across a dark blue Toyota Hiace minibus with registration number ABF 4650 with tinted windows. Mr Hamoonga said police got suspicious of the vehicle and further inspection people were discovered to be lying on top of each other. “When questioned about the passengers, the driver and two accomplices suddenly abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
