By BARNABAS ZULU POLICE in Kawambwa have summoned former Patriotic Front (PF) deputy secretary general Mumbi Phiri, Mambilima Member of Parliament Ms. Jean Chisenga, and Lusaka lawyer Mr Celestine Mukandila over alleged aggravated robbery, barely hours before voting in the Kawambwa parliamentary by-election. Aggravated robbery is non-bailable. Rizwani Patel, the PF official in Eastern Province has remained in prison for the charge of aggravated robbery even after the complaints have formerly submitted to the State that the matter was common assault.
