By NATION REPORTER POLICE in Matero on Thursday gunned down one of the most wanted and notorious criminal Duncan Mwaba. Mwaba, who was affectionately known as “Shimpundu” was on a mission to break into a shop at Twikatane Mall in Zingalume when he met the police’s bullets after trying to evade a capture. Rae Hamoonga, the police spokesperson said in a statement that following tips from the public, police waylaid one of the members of Mwaba’s gang which had been terrorising residents of the area. Mr Hamoonga said police managed to arrest Charles Daka, 31, of Matero who led them to his accomplice Mwaba.
