According to a statement of claim filed with the Lusaka High Court, Mwanza made on November 9, 2024, a Facebook post where she reportedly described the Personality of the Year Awards (POTYAs) as a “scam,” using unflattering language to criticise the ceremony and its organisers. Mobitel claimed the post was defamatory, painting the company as dishonest and engaged in fraudulent activities.
