By LUCY PHIRI THE Lusaka Magistrate Court has issued a warrant of arrest against LAICO – Zambia Ltd General Manager, Nabill Sobhi Ibrahem Elmurabet, a Libyan for absconding court proceedings. This was after State Prosecutor, Michael Nyundwe made an application before court to have the accused person brought on bench warrant after missing court proceedings on two occasions. Elmurabet missed court on November 12 and 14, 2024 without any reasons. “The accused person is not present before court, and this is the second time is absconding court without any reasons, may he be brought on bench warrant,” Mr. Nyundwe submitted. And Principal Resident Magistrate, Idah Phiri has warned that the accused should be brought on warrant without fail returnable on December 13, 2024.
