By BARNABAS ZULU THE Zambia national men’s football team has landed in Monrovia, Liberia, ahead of their crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Sierra Leone tomorrow. The match comes after the Chipolopolo’s impressive 1-0 victory over defending chamions Ivory Coast at home, securing their spot at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Zambia’s qualification was confirmed after their victory in the exciting fixture at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, which saw them top Group G with 10 points, a single point ahead of second-placed Ivory Coast. Meanwhile, Sierra Leone, who drew 1-1 with Chad in their previous fixture, are in third place with five points. Chad sits at the bottom of the group with just three points.
