By NATION REPORTER THE National Union for Miners and Allied Workers (NUMAW) has appealed to Vedanta Resources to sell the 51 percent shares in Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) to Government.NUMAW president Saul Simujika said doing so will enable the government to increase its stake in the mine thereby increase its revenue generation.In an interview, Mr Simujika said having 49 percent shares in Mopani Copper Mines is a milestone and this must be extended to KCM.He said the government should take this opportunity seriously so that Zambia can own more stake in the mining companies CLICK TO READ MORE
