FORMER Zambia national team goal keeper Davies Phiri has bounced back as the new Chipolopolo goal keeper coach.According to the national team technical bench led by Israelite Avram Grant, the South Africa-based goalkeeper coach is among the four locals who are part of the bench leading the Chipolopolo boys for this month’s crucial back-to-back AfCON qualifiers.Zambia will host Lesotho on March 23 at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola before travelling for the reverse fixture which will be played in South Africa on March 26.Other locals on the Chipolopolo technical bench includes Chipolopolo legend, Moses Phiri who has been maintained as assistant coach while, Team Doctor Wesley Ngongo and physiotherapist Hensley Chilimboyi retain their positions.Grant has unveiled his technical bench that also comprises former West Ham and Partizan Belgrade assistant coach Marko Barbul as an assistant coach.The Chipolopolo video analyst role will be played by Ohad Efrat while Jamie Lawrence, a former Premier League star […]
