IN its quest to supplement Government efforts in the provision of quality health care services, the International Drug Company (IDC) has donated medicines and medical supplies to Macha and Chikankata Mission Hospitals in Southern Province valued at K60, 000.IDC divisional manager Beatrice Tembo said as stakeholders in the health sector, the local drug company takes keen interest in developments affecting the health sector.Ms Tembo said, when she handed over the donation, that as a private business that has been operating for over 20 years, IDC would continue to find ways of partnering with government to realise its health sector supply chain and vision.Choma’s Mbabala Constituency Member of Parliament Joseph Munsanje said when he received the donation that government welcomed supplementary efforts various stakeholders made in the delivery of quality health care services.Macha Mission Hospital Medical Superintendent Mark Roth thanked IDC for filling the gap of medicines and medical supplies gap at the hospitalDr. Roth commended […]
