By NATION REPORTERI WAS badly beaten and tortured by one of the most senior officers at Force (Service) Headquarters in Room 45 who believes he is invisible and I could never identify him, Economic and Equity Party president Chilufya Tayali has said.Mr Tayali said he was beaten mercilessly by a named senior officer who allegedly also incited his junior officers to join him in the assault.He however said only a few succumbed to his illegal order to assault him.Mr Tayali said the officer was incensed after he did not respond to him, which made him unleash a barrage of slaps.“In this operation, to forcibly arrest me, he was fully in-charge as Director of Criminal Investigations Department.
