By NATION REPORTERFORMER Patriotic Front (PF) deputy secretary general Mumbi Phiri and her co-accused Shebby Chilekwa’s murder case yesterday commenced with the state calling three witnesses.The duo who have been charged with the murder of UPND cadre Lawrence Banda during a by election in Kaoma pleaded not guilty.The three state witnesses testified and gave account of the happenings of what transpired when the two camps involving PF and UPND clashed at the time.And Ms Mumbi’s lawyer Charles Changano said that the matter would continue today.He said that it was good that the matter had commenced and that they were ready as the defence team.
