By NATION REPORTERPRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema and his predecessor Edgar Lungu should heed the call by the clergy to dialogue and bury their political hatchet, Mulenga Sata has said.Mr Sata said it was important for the two leaders to put their differences aside and foster peace which the country dearly wanted.He said the unity and peace Zambia was known for was delicately anchored on how President Hichilema was treating his predecessor, who was the immediate past president and the only surviving former Head of State.On Friday, St Ignatius Catholic Parish priest Father Godwin Mulenga said President Hichilema and Mr Lungu needed to consider sitting on the same table to talk to each other rather than talking at each other.Fr Mulenga said Mr Lungu was the only surviving former president and this required that he and his predecessor, Mr Hichilema were encouraged to resolve the apparent differences which were creating disunity.But Mr Sata said that the move […]
