By GRACE CHAILE LESOETSASLAIN Prosecutor Nsama Nsama Chipyoka’s family has filed a lawsuit against the State demanding compensation for his death which includes special damages of more than K300, 000 and K1,185,770.84 for loss of expectations .And family of UPND member Joseph Kaunda allegedly killed by Zambia Police Service officers has also sued the State claiming special damages amounting to K325, 000.This is according to separate claims filed in the Lusaka High Court by ZS Legal Practitioners.Both Mr Nsama Nsama and Kaunda were killed on December 23, 2020 when President Hakainde Hichilema as then opposition UPND leader, appeared at the police headquarters for questioning.Mr Nsama, who was working as a senior public prosecutor for the National Prosecution Authority (NPA) died aged 44 while Kaunda, who was running a shop at Town Centre in Lusaka was 27 years old.Mr Katele Nsama suing in his capacity as a beneficiary of the father’s estate and Mr Chaste Nsama, […]
