By NATION REPORTERTHE Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has reduced bus fares, following the drop in fuel pump prices announced by the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) recently. According to a statement by Road Transport Safety Agency (RTSA) head public relations Fredrick Mubanga, the ERB reduced the fuel pump prices by K1.65 per litre for petrol and K1.74 per litre for diesel effective 1st September, 2022. Mr Mubanga said Intercity Long Distance fares have been reduced by 2.0% Copperbelt Local and other towns while Copperbelt Local and other towns did not change.Lusaka Local and other towns would have a reduction of K1.00 while Inter-Mine/ Peri-Urban Copperbelt would also have a K1.00 reduction and the same applies to Lusaka Peri-Urban K00 He said the new bus fares are effective today 8th September, 2022.
