By KALOBWE BWALYATHE PATRIOTIC Front (PF) has indicated that it will seek legal counsel over the forfeiture of 24 vehicles to the state, Chairperson for Publicity Raphael Nakacinda has said.Mr Nakacinda said that the party’s official position over the forfeiture of the 24 vehicles seized for criminal activities and valued at K21, 869,419, will be made clear once they are advised by their lawyers.Mr Nakacinda said “We cannot say much because we are waiting for guidance from our lawyers”.Meanwhile, former cabinet minister George Mpombo advised the PF to go to court because it was clear that the UPND wanted to completely annihilate and dismantle the former ruling party.Mr Mpombo said that the right thing to do was to seek justice through the courts of law.Police spokesperson Rea Haamonga said the vehicles had been forfeited to the state following the expiry of a three months period for owners to claim them.Mr Haamonga said this follows operations […]
