By VITA BANDAThe new dawn administration should consider reintroducing subsidies on fuel, New Congress Party President Peter Chanda has said.Mr Chanda said the economy is bad and ordinary Zambians are suffering owing to the monthly review of fuel prices.He added that the free education initiative was appreciated but it had been subdued with the high cost of living.Mr Chanda said Government could subsidise fuel if they reintroduced mineral royalty tax in the mining sector.He had since appealed to the government to expedite negotiations between Vedanta and Konkola Cooper Mines for the mine to start operating.Mr Chanda said Vedanta Resources meant well for the Zambians and they should be given another chance at operation.
