By KALOBWE BWALYAFORMER Lands minister, Jean Kapata, was yesterday quizzed by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) over the party’s acquisition of land near Arakan Barracks.Ms Kapata’s lawyer Tutwa Ngulube said that her client was quizzed over the title deeds of the PF involving land in Chikoleka Forest near the Arrakan Barracks.Mr Ngulube said the investigative wings wanted the former minister to help them with information on how the party managed to get the piece of land when she was in charge.He said he was shocked because the investigative team behaved unprofessionally because there was no way a minister signs or authorises the issuance of title deeds.“Yes I can confirm that my client was summoned and even quizzed but no arrests were made since they were flimsy issues,” he said.Meanwhile Mr Ngulube said that it was clear that the there was a witch hunt as most of the senior PF members were being targeted.He said that […]
