By OLIVER SAMBOKOGOVERNMENT has reopened investigation into gassing incidents that took place in 2020, says Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu.Responding to a question raised by Kamfinsa member of Parliament Christopher Kang’ombe on whether the government was aware that 12 pupils at Wesley Nyirenda Primary School in Kamfinsa Parliamentary Constituency were hospitalised after an alleged gassing incident last month, Mr Mwiimbu said the nation will soon be informed of the outcome of the probe.He said the government is aware of the reported latest gassing incident atWesley Nyirenda Primary School and explained that police received a report from Ndeke village of the spraying of choking substance at the learning institution.Mr Mwiimbu said unidentified unruly youths who were attending a funeral Mass at St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church threw the choking substance into the classroom where Grade 2 pupils were attending lessons.
