By NATION REPORTERFALSE and malicious machinations meant to tarnish the image of the former first lady have been set in motion suggesting that she was seeking asylum in Canada, Patriotic Front (PF) deputy Chairperson for Publicity Emmanuel Mwamba has said.Mr Mwamba said that it was shocking that some people were trying to implicate the former first lady, Esther Lungu, that she was seeking political asylum on grounds that she and her family were being persecuted by the UPND Government.It is alleged that Ms Lungu applied for asylum on grounds that she and her family were a target of political persecution after her husband Edgar Lungu was ousted from power.
