By NATION REPORTERTHE Patriotic Front (PF) has co-opted bigwigs eyeing the party’s presidency as Members of the Central Committee ahead of the convention slated for this month.Those co-opted include Mr Chishimba Kambwili, Mr Emmanuel Mwamba and Mr Mutotwe Kafwaya, who are all eyeing the presidency.Others on the list are Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo, Dr Canisius Banda, Ms Charity Kapona, Ms Tapiwa Mhango and Mr Japhen Mwakalombe.Meanwhile, longtime PF central committee member Paul Moonga has allegedly ditched the party.Mr Moonga made his intentions known at a meeting of the central committee in Lusaka yesterday.However efforts to get Mr Moonga proved futile as his phone went unanswered by press time.And PF National Chairperson Davies Chama said that he was not aware of the development because he did not attend the meeting.“I have not been feeling too well so I did not attend the meeting, so I can’t confirm that development,” he said.And Mr Kambwili said […]
