By KETRA KALUNGATEACHERS affected by the announcement from the Teaching Service Commission (TSC) that applicants above the age of 45 have been disqualified should engage the Ministry of Education.Zambia National Union of Teachers general secretary, Newman Bubala said the affected teachers should engage the ministry over the matter.Mr. Bubala said in an interview that due to excitement of employment it could have been possible that most applicants never paid attention to the guidelines through the advert.TSC Chairperson, Daphne Chimuka said applicants above 45 years and foreign nationals were disqualified from the selection process because the advert was very clear about the age that it was between 18 and 45 years old.Ms Chimuka said they have concluded the verification process of the applicants at district level and names of the people who qualified have been submitted to provinces.
