By LUCY PHIRIPATRIOTIC Front (PF) acting President Given Lubinda yesterday appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court in a matter in which he is charged with five counts of corruption practices involving more than US$539,000.Lubinda, 58, of plot 21841 Hillview Park Lusaka who appeared before Lusaka Chief Resident Magistrate Dominic Makalicha, however, could not take plea because the State was not ready to proceed as his charge sheet was not before court.This is in a matter in which Lubinda is allegedly facing five counts of possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime contrary to section 71 (1) of the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act No. 19 of 2010, of the Laws of Zambia.
