By Seniya Banda Government should come up with an evaluation framework that will help assess how funds being saved from the removal of subsides are being utilized, the Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR) has said.JCTR executive director Alex Muyebe says as much as the pronouncements were made by the government that funds will go towards development, there is need to ensure that utilization of the funds is monitored.And Mr Muyebe says in the past, the country had seen previous governments making such pronouncements but funds were not utilized for the intended purpose.
