BY LUCY PHIRITWO salesmen of Big Tree Company Limited have been nabbed for allegedly stealing K42, 333. 55 cash property of the said employer.Appearing in the Lusaka Magistrate Court before Chief Resident magistrate Dominic Makalicha was Webby Miyanda, 37, and Francis Mukanko, 25, both of Chinika area accused of Theft by Servant contrary to section 272 and 278 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.When the court read the charge to them, they both said they understood and denied.It is alleged that the duo on December 17, 2021 in Lusaka being employed by as employees of Big Tree working as salesmen did steal K42, 333. 55 cash property of the said employer.The court has since set February 16, 2022 for commencement of trial.
