By SENIYA BANDAA CLEAR roadmap on how the transfer of married couples working in the public service will be implemented to avoid creating vacancies is needed, the Civil Servants and Allied Workers Union (CSAWUZ) has said.Yesterday, the acting Secretary to the Cabinet issued a circular directing that married couples working within the public services should not be separated on account of transfers.However, CSAWUZ President Davy Chiyobe said as much as the decision by Government was welcome, the move was likely to create vacancies in the civil service as most individuals would be rushing to get transfers from rural to urban areas.“It is important that Government is strategic on how it is going to address the challenges that the implementation of the policy will create,” he said.
