MICHAEL KAUMBAJANUARY 17, 2022024820ZANIS-Education Minister DOUGLAS SIAKALIMA says the government will ensure the over ten thousand teachers who have upgraded their academic qualifications to degree level get elevated to their relevant salary scales.Mr. SIAKALIMA says this will be done in collaboration with the Teaching Service Commission.And Mr. SIAKALIMA says the government will not tolerate any acts of nepotism or favoritism on the impending teacher recruitment exercise to be undertaken by the government this year.He said this when he addressed teachers at Kalomo secondary school.Meanwhile, ministry of education human resource and administration director, IGNATIUS DAKA has warned of stern action over any district recruiter committees who will be found wanting on this year’s 30-thousand teachers recruitment exercise.Source:ZNBC
