New timber law coming, says NzovuBy NATION REPORTERA NEW law will soon be put in place to regulate the timber being accessed by timber factories across the country, Minister of Green Economy and Environment, Collins Nzovu has disclosed.Mr. Nzovu said all the legal timber will be hammer-marked to show that it is legally acquired.He explained that by so doing, it would be easier identify where the timber was accessed from.The minister said once the law was implemented all the timber traders that would be found with unmarked wood shall be pounced on by security wings.
