Monitor CDF projects closely – WDCs urgedBy SANFROSSA MANYINDAWARD Development Chairpersons in Kitwe have been urged to monitor Constituency Development Projects (CDF), project proposals closely.Kitwe District Acting Chairperson Shadrick Chitaba said WDCs needed to take keen interest monitoring every CDF project that would be proposed in their respective Wards.Mr Chitaba said time had come to ensure that Zambians are given the respect to choose what they wanted in their respective Wards.He also said this needed to be done in an open manner for transparency’s sake.Mr Chitaba was speaking when he addressed Ward officials from all the wards in the district yesterday.“No WDC Chairman or Committee will be allowed to propose projects in their bedroom on behalf of the Community Members or Citizens like it used to happen in previous regimes.“We need to do things differently and give hope to the people in our respective Wards who have for a long time suffered,” he said.Mr Chataba […]
