By BUUMBA CHIMBULU EMIRATES has resumed its passenger services between Dubai and Lusaka after it had halted operations due to the ongoing spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.Emirates would operate six weekly flights between Lusaka and Dubai and onwards to over 120 global destinations on the airline’s network.This is was according to a statement issued in Lusaka at the weekend.“All passengers travelling from Lusaka with Dubai as their final destination require a 48 hour PCR test. Passengers must present a valid Covid-19 PCR test certificate with a QR code for a test conducted at an approved facility,” it stated.The statement indicated that upon arrival in Dubai, passengers would undergo an additional Covid-19 PCR test and remain in self quarantine until the results of the test are received.It indicated that passengers travelling from Lusaka and transiting in Dubai are required to follow the rules and requirements of their final destination.“Since it safely resumed, tourism activity in July 2020, Dubai […]
