Unconfirmed reports indicate that Phesto Musonda has been nabbed by police following complaints that he has been masquerading as the chief executive officer for Zambezi Portland Cement.The matter is in relation to an incident that happened on Tuesday, in which over 30 suspected cadres damaged vehicles belonging to workers at Zambezi Portland Cement including surveillance cameras.The cadres stormed the cement company on suspicision that it was hiding opposition Patriotic Front party regalia in containers.ZPC Chief Executive Officer Gomeli Litana said after the incident that the company was non-partisan and the accusations were not true.Litana said the action by cadres was an ochestrated plan to disrupt normal working operations.And Ndola District Commissioner Joseph Phiri who rushed to the plant at the time of the raid by the cadres said allegations that the company was having PF regalia in containers was false.Police reportedly arrested Phesto Musonda on Thursday.“Yes, Phesto Musonda is detained in police.
