By SENIYA BANDAGOVERNMENT should not rush to demolish structures in Forest 27 without expert advice from the Zambia Environment Management Authority (ZEMA), says Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) leader Sean Tembo.And Mr Tembo has challenged ZEMA to tell the nation if it has u-turned on its previous position on the environment assessment carried out before Forest 27 was degazetted.Speaking at a press briefing, Mr Tembo said it is regrettable that ZEMA has been quiet on the issue of the demolition of structures in the Forest 27, when its opinion matters resulting in politicians taking advantage of the matterMeanwhile, Mr Tembo said PeP is concerned over the continued harassment of some citizens believed to be suspects in corruption cases.Mr Tembo explained that the approach taken by the UPND government to harass citizens in the name of fighting corruption is not progressive but detrimental.And PeP has unveiled Mr Henry Muleya as its parliamentary candidate for the Kabwata […]
