By MICHAEL MIYOBATHE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has confirmed the escalation of the Covid-19 cases which have caused some Super League fixtures to be postponed.FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala confirmed that Covid-19 cases were recorded at Red Arrows FC which was scheduled to host Indeni FC yesterday at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.Kashala noted that the escalated cases at Red Arrows compelled the association to postpone the fixture involving Arrows and Indeni.He said the move to postpone the fixture was regrettable especially that it came in the aftermath of the cancellation of another Week 17 match involving Kafue Celtic and Prison Leopards due to Covid-19 cases.Kashala urged the clubs to step up Covid-19 preventive measures in view of the fourth wave.“We wish to advise all our partners especially clubs that the fourth wave of the Covid-19 is upon us, and everyone should take care of themselves.
