By ROGERS KALEROCHIEFTAINESS Shimukunami of the Lamba people in Lufwanyama has taken an active role in sensitising her subjects about Covid-19 and ensuring that they get vaccinated against the pandemic.Chieftainess Shimukunami said she had decided to lead the way in vaccinating against the Covid-19 when herself and the more than 60 of her subjects at the palace compound were vaccinated.She was speaking on Tuesday when Water Development and Sanitation Minister Mike Mposha paid a courtesy call on her before touring the Katembula Dam in the chiefdom.Chieftainess Shimukunam said most villagers of her chiefdom have been vaccinated that today the people of Kansoka and Funda villages which were the furthest will be vaccinated.“In my chiefdom, we have done our best, in terms of vaccinating against Covid-19.
