By ROGERS KALEROINVESTIGATIONS carried out in Kamfinsa constituency have revealed that the scrapping of user fees and Parents Teachers Association (PTA) fund may affect some schools because most of them were using the funds to pay electricity and water bills.Kamfinsa Member of Parliament Christopher Kang’ombe said during the tour of various schools in the constituency, that the schools were using the user fees and PTA to pay electricity and water bills.Mr Kang’ombe has however urged Government to ensure that grants which would replace the user fees were paid on time to avoid schools owing water and electricity companies huge bills in unpaid water and electricity bills.“My decision to tour the schools was to establish what challenges they were facing.
