By Jackson MapapayiOne Zambia Army has died another one is nursing injuries in Mwinilunga District Hospital after the vehicle they where in plunged into a ditch in Mwinilunga.The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday along the Mwinilunga Solwezi road near Lolo’s lodge.According to the Deputy commissioner of police for North -Western Province Dr Fred Mulenga, involved was Staff Sergeant Alden Namalongo 34 of Chindwini barrack in Kabwe who whilst driving a Toyota Land Cruiser registration number AB 2699 failed to negotiate a curve and plunged into a ditch.He disclosed that after plunging into the ditch. “And due to the impact,the driver sustained fatal head injuries and died on the spot while the only male passenger Warant Officer Class ii, Obedy Siwale of C-company, Chindwin barracks sustained injuries said Dr Mulenga.He said victim has been admited to Mwinilunga District Hospital while the body of the driver has also been deposited at Mwinilunga district mortuary […]
