BY MAKOKWA CLARA MUYENDEKWAA FINANCIAL lending Director of Choma has appeared for defense in the Choma magistrate court in which he has been dragged to court with the security guard by his client.This is in a case where Ginwell Yooma and another, are charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 248 of the penal code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.Particulars of the offence are that Ginwell Yooma and George Makuni on October 20, 2021 at Choma District jointly and whilst acting together did assault one Choolwe Mazunda thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm.In his defense, 37 year old Yooma of Harmony settlement in Choma told the court that he was informed of the complainant’s refusal to leave the office of CBO Savings and Credit Copperative office at around 20 hours on 20 October 2021.
