BY MAKOKWA CLARA MUYENDEKWAA CLIENT of CBO Savings and Credit Cooperative in Choma has dragged two men for assault occasioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 248 of the penal code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.Particulars of the offence are that Ginwell Yooma and George Makuni on October 20, 2021 at Choma District jointly and whilst acting together did assault one Choolwe Mazunda, thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm.Choolwe Mazunda, who is the complainant in the Matter, told the court that she went to get her money at the CBO Savings and Credit Cooperative Choma Office around 10:00hours on 20 October 2021.“I then waited there and was not given the money until around 17:00 hours when the security guard looked me up in the office because I refused to leave without my money,” Mrs Mazunda said.She said Mr Yooma then came to the office around 20 to 21 hours and told her the money […]
