Solwezi General Hospital in North-western province is in need of six boreholes to completely address the water challenges at the health facility.Solwezi General Hospital medical superintendent, Namwaka Mukunyandela told ZANIS that the institution requires over K720, 000 for construction of water points that will address water challenges.Dr Mukunyandela said the hospital has had water problems for many years.Dr. Mukunyandela thanked several stakeholders such as First Quantum Minerals and Solwezi municipal council for sinking one borehole at the hospital.“So the water situation at Solwezi general hospital is something that is not new, it has been on-going for some years now.
