By JOHN KOMBEPolice in Chongwe have arrested and charged a 20 year old man of Mwanshelela village of Chief Bundabunda in Chongwe for allegedly raping a woman, aged 86, of the same area.Zambia police spokesperson, Rae Hamoonga who confirmed the development identified the suspect as Edward Mumba aged 20 years of Mwanshelela village of Chief Bundabunda in Chongwe.He stated that the incident happened around 03:30 hours on October 25th. He said that the matter was reported by Agness Chiteu, 44 years of Ntanisha village in Chief Nkomeshya’s chiefdom in Chongwe. He said that she reported that her mother Violet Tembo, 86 was raped by the named suspect at the victim’s residence.Mr. Hamoonga stated that the suspect broke into the victim’s house where she was sleeping alone.
