PLAYING POLITICS OF VENGEANCE WILL NOT DEVELOP THE COUNTRY- CCZ WARNS UPND

The Council of Churches in Zambia(CCZ) has warned that the country won’t make muchprogress if people of different political inclination keep on dragging each other in the mud of the past.In a statement, CCZ general secretary Fr Emmanuel Chikoya strongly condemned the barbaric behaviourexhibited by some UPND cadres who do have beenharassingindividuals or groups perceived to be members of the PF.Chikoya said if no decisive deterrent measures are put in place, President Hichilema’s pronouncements on against violence would become mere pronouncements.
