Mukula Task Force set up – HHBy ADRIAN MWANZAPRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has set up a Mukula task force to look into the reported illegal harvesting and trading of Mukula.President Hichilema said that the team comprised himself, the vice president , a number of ministers and other senior officials that would look at the matter in its entirety.He said there was need to look into the cancer of Mukula trade which was conducted dubiously by people who were connected.Mr Hichilema said that the aim of the task force would be to bring sanity in the timber trade which was marred with corruption.‘’The task force is going to look at the issue of Mukula trade which has been marred by illegality and the cancer needs to be nipped in the bud,’’ he said.Meanwhile the President said that the new dawn government also wanted to normalise the fertiliser distribution in the country.He said that some provinces like Southern […]
