By KALOBWE BWALYATHE lawlessness that is happening on public roads following the suspension of some roadblocks and check points, will not be tolerated and those found wanting with face the full wrath of the law, Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu has warned.Mr Mwiimbu has since urged traffic officers to enhance motorised traffic patrols, speed management and control of traffic at busy points.Mr Mwiimbu said the abolishment of traffic snap check points and maintaining only security check points, did not imply tolerating lawlessness on public roads.He said officers should ensure that they stop any motorist suspected to have committed an offence and charge them accordingly. He said the ministry has observed that the public and motorists are bullying and attacking traffic police officers for ensuring sanity on public roads.
