KCM lawyers withdraw from liquidation caseBy GRACE CHAILE LESOETSAA prominent law firm has withdrawn from representing KCM (in liquidation) in a petition where ZCCM-IH wants the mine placed under liquidation.In its notice, D.H. Kemp and Co stated that the firm’s decision to withdraw as co- advocates in the matter has been authorised by Konkola Copper Mine (KCM) provisional liquidator Milingo Lungu.“Take notice that we, the undersigned D.H. Kemp and Co, having been authorised by the provisional liquidator of KCM (in provisional liquidation), the respondent, to withdraw from representing the said respondent, do hereby cease to be one of the co-advocates acting for the said respondent in this matter,” it stated.Other lawyers representing KCM are Messrs. Ellis and Company, Messrs. Andrew Musukwa and Company and Messrs.
