By ADRIAN MWANZAGOVERNMENT has warned the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to be very professional so as not to compromise the integrity of the institution.Justice Minister Mulambo Haimbe said the ACC needed to be above board when dealing with sensitive matters of corruption.He was reacting to an audio that has gone viral on social media which has exposed former ACC Director General Rosemary Khuzwayo , instructing officers to prosecute then Health Minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya even without sufficient evidence.“I have not personally heard the recording but I’m just calling on the ACC to be very professional so that people can hold them in high esteem,” he said.Mr Haimbe said that the new dawn government had indicated that it would not have a hand in the operations of investigative wings but that the onus was on them to prove that they were up to the task.He said that President Hakainde Hichilema had given the institution autonomy to operate […]
